Fueled by Carpy’s Energy Drink and armed with our custom wraps, the Carpy’s Print Company team rolled into NORCAR on Friday afternoon, ready to kick off a weekend of intense racing.

We left the shop at 9 a.m., made a quick pit stop at Arby’s (because curly fries are life), and arrived at the track just before noon.
Once unloaded, it was all business as our drivers hit the track to shake down their rides and dial in the setups.
Losi NASCARs: Fast Cars, Tough Competition
Our Losi NASCARs, wrapped in style by Carpy’s, turned heads during mock runs with their speed and precision. However, local ace Ron Mick quickly established himself as the man to beat. His experience on this track was evident, but our drivers are taking notes and working hard to close the gap heading into Saturday’s heats.

17.5 Class: Tight Racing, Strong Runs
The 17.5 class brought some of the day’s closest battles, and Carpy’s drivers were right in the thick of it. Derreck and Jeff, piloting their TCR chassis wrapped by Carpy’s, showed solid speed and consistency. This class is known for its razor-thin margins, with 80% of the field running nearly identical lap times. Every tweak and adjustment will matter as we head into Saturday’s racing.

Open Mod: A Tough Day for Jeff
Jeff’s Open Mod car had a rough outing, to say the least. After two hard, head-on collisions with the wall, the car will need a complete rebuild during Saturday morning’s final practice session. Jeff’s determined to get it dialed in before the heats begin at 11 a.m., and we’re backing him all the way.

Friday Night: Steaks and Strategy
After a long day of racing, we wrapped up Friday with a team dinner at LongHorn Steakhouse—because sometimes, you just need a good steak to reset. Between the laughs and strategy talk, spirits are high, and the team is ready to bring it all back to the track Saturday morning.

What’s Next
We’ll be back at it bright and early Saturday, with practice starting at 8 a.m. and heats kicking off at 11 a.m. Our drivers are focused, our cars are prepped, and we’re hungry to compete. The weekend is young, and Carpy’s is here to make an impact.
