The Wildthing Racing Shootout at Brickhouse RC Raceway was pure chaos… in the best way possible. With 103 entries filling the pits, the season opener had the energy of a full-blown dirt track night… just on a smaller (but equally rowdy) scale.
And let’s talk about that track. The new surface is dialing in fast… and we mean fast. We’re talking lightning-quick 3.7s from SC Mods, Outlaw Late Models, and Mod 410 Sprints. Once the timing system fix gets dropped in, this place is going to be even nastier (in a good way). Huge props to Bobby Boone and the crew for keeping everything rolling and getting racers back on track.

Our Weekend at Brickhouse
The Carpy’s crew came out swinging. We managed to snag TQ in Mod Sprint during the second-round qualifier… throwing down some heaters that even made the pit fans stop mid-coffee sip.

Our Late Model drew the pole for the A Main but had too much side bite… yeah, that’s a thing. Sometimes fast is too fast. The SC Mod came through solid, drawing pole in the A Main and landing P2 at the finish. Then in the Mod Sprint Dash For Cash, we went from the back of the pack to a hard-fought P3… not bad for a night of elbows-out racing.
Great work this weekend TJ!

The Pits, The Vibe, The Chaos
Brickhouse was packed… trailers lined up outside, cars lined up inside, and pit tables loaded with more soldering irons, wings, and wraps than an RC convention. Every class had stacked lineups, and everyone was out for blood (and maybe a door prize or two).

The Carpy’s pits looked like an F1 team… GFRP Cars wrapped in Carpy’s / Wildthing colors! Our #23 Mod & Sprint flexing the Kraken-approved vibes. We love seeing all the local racers running our designs… there’s nothing like watching your own work flying around a track.

Shoutout to the Real Ones
Huge thanks to all the sponsors, racers, and Brickhouse staff who made the event happen. Between the giveaways, door prizes, and fierce competition, it was the kind of weekend that reminds us why we love this hobby.
The Brickhouse RC Raceway is only getting faster… the Wildthing crew keeps bringing the fire… and Carpy’s? We’re just getting started.
And remember… if it looks fast sitting still, it’s probably wrapped by Carpy’s.
