Action Park East Champions!

Well folks… that’s a wrap on the season at Action Park East Kart Speedway, and what a way to end it. Championship Night gave us everything we love about racing fast laps, nail-biters at the line, and a whole lot of heart from every driver who hit the track. The Collins crew showed up and showed out, and we couldn’t be prouder to work with them all season long.

Jr1 Rookie – Amelia Keeps It Rolling

Amelia started her night on the pole and looked locked in from the start. She wheeled her way to 3rd in the heat and kept the momentum going, starting 3rd again in the feature. With the leader making a mistake late in the race, it was a full-send drag race to the finish line and Amelia pulled off her second win of the season by a bumper!

Stay tuned… we’re waiting on final points to come out.

Jr2 – Riley Battles Through

Some nights just don’t go your way… and this one wasn’t Riley’s. She had speed, but a heavy right foot and a few rare mistakes cost her early. But come feature time, Riley regrouped and clawed her way back to a P2 finish just shy of a championship.

Ghost 360 – Setting the Pace

The Ghost 360 kart? Absolute rocket. Started outside pole in the heat and pulled off a slick win on the bottom groove. In the feature, it was a battle from green to checkers with Doug O’Hara and Chaz Underwood knocking on the door. But once again, the Collins kart set the pace and brought it home for the win!

That win locked up a 70-point lead going into the final 2 races in the Southern Tier PACK Series and they are now officially the TRACK CHAMPIONS at Action Park East in the Ghost 360 class!
